a patient at my hosp gave back their insight, i gave back my medtronic. we have swapped, well, will do, once trained on the insight. it is allowed and fine at my hospital.

i have 10u levemir 6u in the morning 4u before bed then approx 12u humalog throughout the day i eat carbs! carbs are yummy :)

must say i have injected in the toilets,not because i've been asked too but because it was just easier at the time. mind you, i inject through my clothes so not hygienic either. oh well.

someone said this to me in the past at the table. i did an air shot of insulin to make sure the needle worked so the insulin landed in her wine glass. she was not happy, but i was. i then injected in my arm and made quite a show and dance about it. people suck :(

I'm going to go and see the Doctor because I have been anemic in the past. When I took it just now and it bleed lots I was 15.5! don't ask!!!!! can't get any form of control recently. No moisturiser etc on my hands currently

On a long pump break because my infusion sites kept bleeding. Now almost every injection bleeds or leaves a bruise and I've also noticed when I prick my fingers the blood is very watery and hard to form a blob for the meter to suck the blood in, if you know what I mean. Any ideas? wondering if...

i'm 14 years diagnosed, always either feeling sick or hungry. grr

i think cgm should be on the NHS more so than pumps.

when not on my pump i use levemir. i have 6u at 8am and 4u at 11pm and i weigh 57kg less is more ;)

i'm currently wearing my 5 year old combo. not a mark on it. never failed or broken. nurse is working on getting me a new one and has advised me to avoid the insight because of the handset, consultant has also said the same.

the plastic white ring bit where the reservoir goes in cracked and fell off mine and so they sent a new one. it just fell off.

you may be able to swap with another patient if they want to swap pumps.
