What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I've never thickened it. I just let it reduce and thicken naturally.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I vary how I do cauliflower rice. Sometimes I start it off in melted butter, always with sliced spring onion, and chopped parsley. From there it depends what I'm having it with. With chicken, I'd add some peas and some chicken stock. A Chinese dish, I add peas and a little tamari soy. I've also...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Saturday 27 January - bed 7.9 FBG 7.4. I'd got my shopping done yesterday, so today was devoted once again to the reorganisation. Old furniture is leaving on Tuesday, so I will have an ideal opportunity to really clean the laminate in a very big room. Watch out nooks & crannies! B. TAG and 2...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I'm at 61 intensity currently. My leg issues are thanks to RTA and spinal injuries. As well as the Revitive, I also have a home use type of flowtron boots, and a deep tissue massage gun. Oh boy, I can relate to the shocks/burning/pins and needles and chuck in jumping for good measure.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

The NLC pasta is one of the better ones I have to say. I prefer it as a carbonara, and I like that you can get it in 100g bags. I still think the best ever was Oomi noodles as a substitute, but they went capute during lockdown. Lidl did their version of the oomi noodles, but, like their LC rolls...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I'm quite lucky that my butcher does a GF haggis that doesn't have much effect on me. Neeps are fine, and I substitute cauliflower mash for the tatties.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Thursday 25 January bed 8 FBG 7.6 - Decided I'd better catch up a bit more with 200 posts still to get through! This was not a good day. I decided to go to Aqua to get a break from gutting. Little did I know they had moved the road works to the most atrocious place. I spent 30 mins not moving...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]I have a feeling my autocorrect has done this before! My brain is addled with moving furniture about, getting tax returns completed on time for DIL, still running about daft, attending school meeting to bat for grandson's course selections, and generally try to...

My favorite is avocado, prawns and a Marie Rose sauce. Many different recipes for Marie Rose. Mine is a mix of mayo, squeeze of tomato puree, touch of double cream, small dash of brandy, a drop or so of tabasco and paprika. It's a case of tasting it as you go.

Monday 22 January - bed 7.8 FBG 7.9. Another week of non-stop school runs - operation clear out - and road works. I'm behind again, but after a quick scan of the 100 plus posts, I still have to read.....@DJC3 & @Antje77. I'm so glad the appointments went well, and it's all clear for another...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Saturday 20 January - bed 7.7 FBG 8. Having got the shopping done yesterday, I didn't have to leave the house today. Very fortunate, as the weather is pretty grim! I was focused on clearing in preparation for the furniture "changover." Hubby has moved the 2 seater sofa to the rear of the house...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I remember when I was working in Llandudno for a couple of days. Hubby decided to join me, and the place was full of ladies on coach trips. Having completed all my work, we went for a wander along the prom. Hubby has this theory that ladies on coach trips eat a lot of chicken (not that he thinks...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Thursday 18 January - bed 7.9 FBG 7.3. Aqua day. It's still bitterly cold, but the pool was a bit warmer today. I also discovered that my greaseproof that I use to line trays turns a nice shade of brown in 2 of the ovens. No fire yet, thankfully. As a precaution, I've ordered silicon liners for...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

17 January - bed 7.3 FBG 7.5 @DJC3 that is a hunk of lamb. I tried to get cutlets at the butchers yesterday, but they are not coming in until Thursday. I got rolled lamb instead. B. TAG and an amended DD breakfast. I didn't want to make mug bread, so I toasted 2 slices of SRSLY (the small end...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

What gets me is when the voice search on the TV declares, "I'm sorry, I haven't learnt that yet." Also, an advert we get (probably only in Scotland - be grateful) for the Scotto. It's really annoying!

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I noticed someone has already mentioned the oats. Most of us find that oats put our BGS through the roof (much as I used to enjoy them). Dairy milk can be an issue too. I use no added sugar coconut milk and I'm rather fond now of the Paleo Food Co Berry granola on occasion. It helps if you test...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Monday 15 January - bed 7.3 FBG 7.5. AQUA this morning, but I'm second on the wait list for next week. I was 30 seconds later than usual calling in, but we're in that period of the New Year "effort" not having worn off yet with the newbies. B. TAG and 2 slices of SRSLY toast. One with egg...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Lakeland had cheesemaking kits for ricotta like cheeses. In Italy, a lot of the households make their own cheeses. It's interesting to see, but I'm not sure I'd ever have the time!
