Yeah I agree but don’t think I’ll be on the lash again for a while till I get my head around this thing ... I’m on statins as well . And on a low carb diet so I’ll just keep the booze down to a minimum for a while

Thanks for the reply . Don’t know what my levels are or were doc didn’t tell me and told me I don’t need to test my bloods but been on low carb diet since startin on the Metformin and statin

newly diagnosed about 2 weeks ago. Asked the doc if i should test my blood he replied . No need to test come back and see me in 4 weeks and take one of these tablets once a day for 4 weeks and then come back and see me Metformin 500mg . No information about the tabs nothing about avoid alcohol...

I am newly diagnosed with type 2 . Don't know my readings as doctor didn't tell me . I'm on 500mg of metformin one a day. after about 2 weeks on them started getting dull pain around the right side kidney area . I am gonna ask doc about it when i go back in 2 weeks to see him.
