    When I first started injecting I had to use the glass and metal syringes with what looked like darning needles attached. We had to pinch the skin on injecting. The arms were never an option then as you couldnt pinch and inject at the same time :)

    49 years type1 and have never done a jab in my arms. My basal used to go into my stomach and bolus into the tops of my legs

    My motto - "Oh the joys of T1D" Which is of no help whatsoever to you. You mentioned that you take 3-4 units of NovoRapid and nothing happens. Does your graph show a movement at around the 3-4 hour mark after you 3-4 units?

    I have been hypo unaware for a few years now. Not good at all. Tghanks to Libre and Miaomiao I can set alarms to sound when going low. My DSN has asked me to be running my sugars at around 8mmol/L which I have been doing for the past 10-12 months. Still do not feel a hypo until the high 2s...

    I do find that any rice no matter what the colour effects me after 3 - 4 hours. Luckily I am on a pump and can spread my bolus out over a few hours. Was you eating similar things before the spikes started happening?

    I work in a very busy garage as a receptionist. We have a screen up now and sanitize the keys when given to me. A lot more washing of hands happen now. Running pretty much as normal

    Used to be a recreational user a while ago. Never really noticed any difference in BGs or insulin sensitivity to be honest. Can honestly say I never really suffered wit the munchies either
