Type 1s: What Is/was Your Blood Sugar This Evening And This Morning ?

Fell asleep at 7.3 after treating a slight low with a lot of peanut butter [emoji28] I then woke up a bit late up at 8.4. Probably my lowest overnight spike to date. Would love to figure out why my overnight change is different every time! Might need to do a bunch of checks during the night at...

Congrats! [emoji1] I hope your trend continues. I too am on a quest for a day of singles. I'm getting closer but I still get those occasional post meal spikes. Still! I bet it felt super good?

Oof [emoji15] that's not fun! Anything above 10 makes me feel absolutely rancid these days. Hope you're managing to pull it back down now! [emoji4]

Type 1s: What Is/was Your Blood Sugar This Evening And This Morning ?

Oof yeah... I took a correction an hour or so before bed. Then decided to check before getting into bed, I had dropped from 10.2 to 4.7 in an hour[emoji32] Ended up staying up two hours extra to eat a little snack to make sure I didn't continue to drop. So I fell asleep at 6.2 and woke up at...

    Sugar Tax

Yuh, would be super unhelpful. My partner says it isn't legal for them to do that but I could see them getting around it by making the diet ones a couple pennies more expensive or less expensive than the taxed sugar ones. I dunno, I hope it turns out well and reduces the sugar addiction but I...

Went to bed at 5.5. I'm still a little paranoid about going to sleep at that level, so I ended up having a dextrotab before going to sleep. Woke up at 8.4 which is good considering I guess ^=^ Hope everyone is having an amazing day!

Oof. It always amazes me how much stress and mood can affect blood sugar levels. Hope you got yourself back up easily and I hope your friend is doing well and gets well quickly! [emoji4]

    Sugar Tax

Like I said I'm not really against the tax in any way really. I'm mostly just curious to see where it's going and what it will affect. The only slight issue I'm having is that I do tend to buy a fair bit of diet soda and as a student I worry about tiny increases in objects I buy a lot of...

    Sugar Tax

I guess it more just limits our options in regards to what is affordable as a part of that kit. Fruit juice isn't taxed so juice is still fine and so are a number of other sugary alternatives. I am in full support of where the money is going, but at the same time I'm a little bummed that the...

    Sugar Tax

Yay! [emoji4] I still find myself curious as to what the government defines as a fruit juice and what they define as a soft drink and what they do with stuff in between (Entirely from an intellectual standpoint) not trying to be argumentative or anything, just curious! I'll probably look it up...

    Sugar Tax

I don't know if it includes fruit juice? I was under the impression that it was specifically soft drinks. Hmm, going to be interesting to see where they draw the line.

Thanks! Probably will do this in a week or so when I have less to do for university. I'm keen on getting this as controlled as I can. Always looking for ways to improve myself. My goal for now is to not spike over 9 after my meals. ^=^ I'm getting there.

Type 1s: What Is/was Your Blood Sugar This Evening And This Morning ?

I went to sleep at 6.4 and woke up at 8.4. I keep waking up high! 2 points seems to be about normal for it. Dunno if maybe I need a touch of long acting in the evening. Either way that 8.4 dropped to 7.7 after an hour had past. Now time for breakfast! I'm sure it'll mess me up for a few hours...

How do you correct for your delicious mistakes?

I guess in that case I get that a few times a week! The university campus is pretty large! Even so I do mean to start exercising more ^=^

How do you correct for your delicious mistakes?

I still haven't really figured out how exercise affects my BG. It's something I intend to work on over the holidays. Right now I would be happy figuring out my carb to meal ratio better, which is happening... Slowly. Still! Exercise sounds like a really good idea. I think I need to do a bit...

It did. Turns out I have Dyspraxia! ^=^ My BG has been pretty good as well. Sat at 5.6 for most of the day and only spiked to 9 after my lunch. Going to see what dinner did to me soon :)

Type 1s: What Is/was Your Blood Sugar This Evening And This Morning ?

I do have a half unit pen ^=^ However the specifications say that you shouldn't give a half unit from it as it isn't accurate under 1 unit I believe. Which I was kinda like... Uh right? I might try give myself 1 unit anyway, I *Think* that will bring me down to about 6. @Robinredbreast I hope...

Type 1s: What Is/was Your Blood Sugar This Evening And This Morning ?

Thanks ^=^ Uhm. 9.6 seems to be about average for me these past couple of weeks and I'm trying to figure out why. I also seem to be super sensitive to insulin still too. So a correcting dose of one unit might push me a tiny bit too low and then I won't be able to drive in to an appointment I...
