Found out from my GP yesterday that skin tac wipes aren’t available on the NHS and they’re too expensive for me to fund myself. Does anyone have anything similar that they get in the NHS? My pump no longer sticks to my stomach since having my daughter so I’ve lost a large area of pump sites :(

Not personally but I know someone that it happens to on a daily basis in the summer. I think he did the same as you and put tape over it. Nightmare!

You can get sugar free sweets although they’re not as nice of normal ones. Have a look when you do your food shop and have a look at the labels. Are the sweets/chocolates he likes available in smaller packets? I would avoid diabetic chocolate though. Not nice at all and can have laxative...

I get this if I use the same site too often. I can use another one from the same batch in a different area and have no problems. Not saying that’s what you’re doing, that’s just what happens to me. Hope it gets sorted!

I know exactly what you mean. I used to hate my appointments and used to dread going sometimes if I knew I’d had a couple of high readings. Hope your scan goes well, appointments are worth it when you have scans [emoji173]️

Have you got an appointment soon? Mine were every two weeks when I was pregnant. If it were me I’d basal test again. Hope it comes down soon.

I’m not in the situation as you but didn’t want to read and run. When you say they’re high, how high? Have you done any basal testing? Have you set a temp basal rate on your pump to try and being them down?
