Those magical moments so well painted, I do like this scene and you have drawn some amazing plants in the foreground. Your mention of dam building brings back many memories.

Good Morning and 6.3 for me today, I give up. :banghead: Bright and cold, a sprinkling of snow over night but melted fast. No idea what I will be doing today but it's bound to involve garden, music and painting. Keep safe and enjoy this lovely Spring day. PS? I'm not really giving up just...

More great Mountain sketches from the man of the mountains. Those buildings are tottering on one mighty pinnacle of rock. Clever birds up North being able to dismantle and move bird feeders.

Always good to try something new, different approach and learning curve. It doesn't always suit our individual styles or work as we expect, I have a lot of these experiences. You have added a good hint of brightness in the background light yellow and the shaded leaves on the trees have some good...

Always learning, brilliant. The height and sheerness of those cliff faces depicted with a few well placed streaks of light and dark is very well achieved as are the reflections of the moon on the water. Another good skill learnt.

@ianpspurs Thanks for the poetry link, Hopkins is one of my much liked poets. I can empathise with his dark side of life, I have learnt to control my Black Dog moods, what is hard to explain is how one can enjoy being in them, enjoy the darkness of the mind and the feeling of being miserable. No...

If you arrive late at the beach you can always paddle. :) I like both of these ink pieces today. Resist and wash worked very well resulting into a good landscape, reminded me of the pictures coming out of Australia with its unusual rainfall on Uluru. Second is an extremely well drawn rocky tree...

Oh it would be so nice to go somewhere in Wilfrid but locally all seems so busy and I fear the whole of the UK will be the same. Once restrictions lift I will try and find some of the more unknown places I have been.
