    Do you need to put the pump on your house insurance?

    Hi there James has the Accu Chek Combo pump and we are insured with insurance 4 insulin pumps. We pay £6.99 per month and from what I can remember the cover is for £2,500. This company was mentioned by other forum members and also the Roche Rep for the pump. Hope this helps Yvonne

    HERE WE GO

    First day of GCSE'S and although it's only day 1 the pump seems to be a lot better controlling James's BG's than the MDI's. Hope now I haven't spooked him. He also does not seem so stressed so fingers crossed. Time will tell. :thumbup:

    Hi I know when James was first diagnosed I googled a lot too and made myself a nervous wreck. The DSN told me to stop so I did. We don't know what is around the corner for anyone, so you can't google every what if's . As the saying goes, Keep Calm and Carry On . Best wishes Yvonne x

    Lemons!!!

    Diabetic toffee.....

    Don't overdo it or you will be in the bathroom most of the night. The trouble with diabetic choc and toffee they tend to have a laxative effect, so easy does it. I would stick to normal chocs and toffee in MODERATION!! Nice thought though hubby!!
