    Type 1 Libre android app

There are a couple of Libre apps with similar names. The one I linked to earlier, Freestyle LibreLink app, was the one which scans your sensor to collect the reading. There are minimum system requirements of the mobile phone required to use this app. Most importantly NFC (Near field...

Can anyone tell me if my glucose meter is broken?

I’m not the op, but I’ve been testing my sugars for 18 months, and never heard of a test solution to test my device. I’ve had some very different readings with mine sometimes. 35, 28, and 22 done within a minute. I’ve pointed out these weird readings to my diabetic nurse and she never said I...

    BG spike after eating

Thanks Thelma, I was a bit worried that the reader they make would be required, just using a phone would be too easy, and they wouldn’t make the money. If you do try your phone I would be interested in the outcome, but no worries either way. Sorry for hijacking your thread. P.s. Thanks...

I was 10.3 this morning. Which is good for me, my aim is to be under 10 of a morning.

    Post dental surgery advice

Yes my normal meals always have bread, potatoes, and pasta. So I will bear this in mind. But I do think it’s easier for me to increase sugars than bring them down in my situation.

Thanks, I will definitely take on board some of these ideas, and look into those nutritional shakes.

    Post dental surgery advice

No, I don’t cook for myself due to disability, I just normally eat whatever is on the meal plan but nothing is counted or weighed to know exactly what carbs I will need post surgery.

    Post dental surgery advice

Hi, I really need some help on what to eat post dental surgery in 5 days time. I’m type 2 diabetic insulin controlled, I have 2 set doses of 40 units in the am and 12 in the pm. I cannot adjust my doses as it’s signed for by care givers. I don’t cook for myself, so the menu plan will be totally...
