mrs gimli, what were you feeling like before you took your metformin? I'm asking because I'm peddlling backwards as far as med taking is concerned. Is this wise?
Kman, you have a new reader here. I was diagnosed a year ago and was told to lose weight so my blood sugar reading would go down. For some reason I still feel in a bubble and have put weight on instead. The nurse has threatened to put me on meds next time I go back but I'm adamant I don't...
Sugar...Oh Honey,honey. The Archers
Sweets for my Sweet, Sugar for my honey. (some 60s group)
My Sweet Lord. Lennon
How sweet it is to be loved by you. (?)
Happy Birthday Sweet 16 (that American bloke at the piano)
Need I go on ? :shh:
As a newly diagnosed type 2 I'm still learning about stuff but what about getting a letter from your GP to confirm your condition and any information of what can happen during a hypo? It may educate the police and go towards your case.
Good luck...and you know you are NOT an idiot!
Hi World Hereafter
I had a simillar experience to yours and was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago. It really throws you doesn't it?!
If you are offered a DESMOND course snap it up as it was most informative and other newly diagnosed people were there sharing their experiences.
