When I got my results last week and was diagnosed T2D I was given figures of 107 where the ideal range was around 48 and 12 when it should be about 5. Can someone explain ?

I was diagnosed last Friday, 1st July with my test results showing figures of 107 & 12, but I am not sure what these relate to although I do know they are high. Am on Metformin now to help but nothing has really been said about carbs. Have been in a permanent fog for months which has affected...
