Morning all, is anyone using the Fiasp insulin with their pump? I understand that it's not recommended, unsure why, but that it is possible (if you make your case) to your consultant it can be approved. I'm on a Tandem control iq closed loop pump and am finding the whole give yourself a dose...

    Looking for advice please

@Gavin73, sorry to hear the trouble you are in right now. From what you've said, Id definitely push to see another doctor as soon as you can. If they ask if its an emergency as they do at my doctor, definitely say yes, you need treatment pronto. Out of interest what make of blood tester does...

    Continual hypos - 4 / 5 in a day

Hi omnipod, thanks for your swift response. I've checked my sites and all is fine. The only change in the last two weeks is that we moved house, so yes less stress etc, but can't think why less stress would give me hypos, usually it's the other way round for me. I've contacted my dsn several...

Hi omnipod, thanks for your response. I feel very naive here but what is an omnipod? It's the first I've heard of it. I'm sure good old google will help explain, but can you shed any light on it from your experience. Thanks, Sally

    Pump holiday?

Hi all I've been on a pump now for about 7 years now, but have never had what my dsn calls a pump holiday. I know there are lots of advantages of having a pump particularly with the ability to micro manage your insulin levels, but right now getting the cannula in the right place is a nightmare...

Hi Louise, thanks for your input on this.
