I dunno seeing as I live and die in skinny jeans, I wouldn't like to put a needle through that! I'd be very put off in terms of sterility of the needle etc etc, though I did used to do it through my fabric trousers in school!

From personal experience, I've found the numbness never goes, but the other symptoms (tingling etc) do fade with tighter control. I'm on Amitriptyline and Gabopentin for my neuropathy which does help... slightly x

I think it depends on the level - quite a lot of bodybuilders stay in a 'ketonic' state in order to burn fat! You also get small amounts of ketones from not eating. For a diabetic? With a high amount? Not too long! You'd develop ketoacidosis and get very ill very quickly. Are you ok, OP? Have...
