Can I add a word of caution if you are going to reduce carbs, as you're on insulin you do need to test and be aware of whats going on - maybe speak to your HCP.

We all react slightly differently to hypers and hypos, and react differently to being told we are hyper/hypo - but to me what you've said, sounds similar to what I'm like whilst hypo. Fluctuating blood glucose can affect peoples moods so it might be that too and not actually being high (hyper)...
