Morning everyone, Like Porl69 just caught up with the weekends posts, I missed the eurovision thankfully :D, the diabetes tech talk sounded good, I like the fact that some are looking at pushing pumps that are more easily loop'd. When we first got him <-- @ 8 weeks old or what ever he was small, the wife thought allowing him on the sofa and bed wouldn't be a problem, I put my foot down and said there is no way he'll be allowed on the furniture - she's thanking me now, he's too big and takes up too much room and we have a...

Fast acting to slow acting insulin ratio ?

Most are told it should be 50:50, but everyone is different! And it also depends on how many carbs you eat too. What ever works for you is the right amount, but if you're dipping low overnight it would suggest you're taking too much basal (before bed?) and the only way to really find out is to...

3.1 this morning, delayed injection and had breakfast, 9.6 about 30mins later. 2 hrs after breakfast 6.3, although I may have just ruined it by having a sausage bap, probably more than the 30g carbs I estimated and probably needed more than the 2u I took, but with IOB from breakfast who knows...

Morning guys, fairly quiet long weekend, with some interesting numbers, seemed to follow a pattern of low 4's start in the morning, middling lunch time and pre-dinner score and then having to do a correction dose before bed - but I'm pretty certain thats down to accurate carb counting........or...
