Morning all, no 5 badge for me today........a 3 is more appropriate. Woke in the wee hours and scanned 3.2, had a couple of glucotabs and went back to sleep, woke again a couple of hours later to 3.8, rolled over and back to sleep, got up usual time and was still 3.8, I can live with that, just...

Morning all, I think I can wear a 5 badge this morning although that was after a middle of the night correction for a horrendous 17! due to a combination of a missed timed bolus (meal took a lot longer to kick in than anticipated), dog walk and subsequent over corrected hypo fix. :meh:

    Diabetes. It never stops.

I agree with Diakat, do some basal testing first to make sure your foundations are solid then reevaluate your bolus ratios. You don't specifically mention using a CGM type device so if you're not using one I urge you to do so. I'd also suggest you 'scientifically' (IE weigh all ingredients) work...

@SueJB that sounds interesting a million and one things I could say to them but No1. is especially if they're aiming to be diabetes consultants, just remind them that their patients are actual people too. Yesterday was a bit of an up and down day BG wise, nothing too horrendous but certainly...

Morning all, I was 3.something when I woke up hey ho - but BGs have been fairly good over the weekend anyway. Spent yesterday with a Welsh friend, who has been looking for a new sofa, so we all set off to help her out and she had one specific in mind she wanted our thoughts on so we went into...

morning all, I made it to 44hrs in target but then blew it yesterday evening, spent all night fighting against the Chinese - the food not the people! :D But it was blinking good! Last night went something like......bolused just before eating, another about 30mins after coming back from the dog...

Morning all, some rather large funky snowflakes but mostly rain so I'm now cold and wet after my bike ride - at least I had the fore thought to bring some spare trousers with me today, my water proof over-trousers are somewhat just over trousers these days. I'm wearing a 4 badge this morning -...

Or you may want to think about changing to a more flexible basal insulin - levemir twice a day for example. Speak to your DSN or clinic if this is going to be a 'thing' from now on.

Morning all - currently at 5.2 but was flat lining in the low 7's ALL night (one of the most steady overnight graphs I've ever had). I've recently had a flurry of letters from the clinic.............next appointment was due in May, a few weeks ago that got cancelled and rearranged for June...

Morning all, just caught up on the weekends goings on, you lot have been 'talkative'! Friday night had pasta, managed timing and dose perfectly until bed time - was thinking that perhaps I should do a small dose of novorapid before going to bed to stave off the likely increase that was due but...

We're all ok at home thanks, just the commute at one particular spot is very close to the river and the river is just lapping on to the road although like you I think the level has dropped ever so slightly since yesterday.
