    gabapentin

Hi there, I have recently started gabapentin for neuropathic pain, has anyone else taken this, if so did it work? The side effects list definitely makes for good bed time reading if nothing else LOL

    Disliking my pump . . .

*phew*, SO it's not just me lol :-) I do find it annoying trying to find outfits that "suit" the pump, through time I am hoping that i'll get there. Carbs, my mum also suggested the pocket idea, however I am not sure it will work on all my outfits. My mother grew up the ideal Blue Peter...

    Disliking my pump . . .

I have been using my pump for approx 3 weeks now and I must admit, i'm not doing too well. I think its more how I feel about having the pump than actually the pump being annoying (if that makes sense lol  ) I am struggling with where to house it when wearing various clothes, also i have...

    Just being nosey but . . .

Thanks for that. I am currently on 136u basal a day, however this is still a LOT less than any daily injections that I took. ally my sugars still run in the mid teens to low twenties so hoping that through time we will get this down :-)

    Infusion Sets

They did tell you not to change the cartridge every time you used a new infusion set didn't they? Erm . . . . Just being nosey but . . .

As the title suggests I am just being nosey but was wondering what levels people were on with their pumps? I am aware that, for some reason, when on a pump you seem to require less insulin than when injecting . . . has everyone found this to be true?

    Infusion Sets

Hi there, I have the Inset II infusion set. TBH I didn't expect to get as many things either and was shocked to get to the hospital and have 6 big boxes full of stuff waiting on me lol I am also not using the pump fully yet, at the moment I am only using it to deliver background, so I am...

    Infusion Sets

OMG they cost how much??? wow, didn't think they were that expensive . . . . . Thankfully it was my DSN and consultant who have told me to change it more often, I was also given about 200 of everything with my pump :-) They have said, that although not the best solution, even if I need to...

    Infusion Sets

I wonder if anyone has experienced any issues with any infusion sets . . . . I started on my pump, an Animas 2020, last week and have been having a reaction at the sites. I am now having to change sites every day, to me this kinda defeats the purpose of the pump, however I still prefer this to...

    Newbie

Hi there, I am a new pump user and thought I'd say Hi. I have only been using my pump for 1 day and have high hopes :-). I have struggled with my diabetes for many years now and am hoping the pump may just be the key to getting it all under control. ElleDee cx
