    hi. very new to all of this & looking around sites about LCHF eating I see a lot of people have dropped BG levels & lost weight .. I'm going to get a meter (against GP advice) to test myself but have severely restricted carb intake & stepped up exercise for 10 days but no change in weight...

    questiin - can you swap almond flour for linseed flour for cakes etc? I'm not a baker in any way but looking at recipies on low carb programme there were several that looked really good, esp cream cheese brownies. but it uses almond flour, I've always had a sensitivity to nuts (not allergy) thanks

    thanks for your help today everyone, learning has occurred !!! will have to look at full fat ones, I know some full fat Greek yogurts have cream in so will check labels

    thanks Bluetit1802, I'll get onto surgery. lovinglife - I'll look at creme fraiche, looking at some Greek yogurts I see several have cream in them which doesn't help, I will have to experiment.

    brilliant, thanks for that.. I got shredded wheat as I thought it would be good, high fibre & low sugar, now I find carbs are just as bad.. oh well, the kids will eat them.. I will look at omelettes or normal Greek yogurt instead.
