    Parking fine...treating hypo!!!

Do nothing until a county court letter comes thru your letter box - which has a 95% chance will never happen. You didn't break any laws by over staying you ticket time. If you do contact the parking company tell them you're quite happy explaining your circumstances to a judge.

Your help please, have i got a faulty meter

Not much to go on with just 3 readings. In my experience meters either read aucurately or do nothing at all or display a error message.

Trial libre with one sensor and the app

Hi. You can use the phone app but you must scan the sensor with your phone within an hour of starting the sensor with the Freestyle reader. Or use the Glimp app and you can scan any sensor at any time.

Sorry it's another Freestyle Libre thread

The rock tape is great. I knocked a few sensors off, now I wrap a length of tape all right around my arm and not had a problem since. I might be imagining it but I think I get more reliable readings when using the tape.

HOLE IN THE POCKET AND DIABETES

The only extra cost apart from my Libre is the bags of jelly babies for hypo treatments I buy. I either eat them or lose them.

    Freestyle libre

Apart from cost it's great. Been using mine for 3 months. Feel lost without it.

    Parking fine...treating hypo!!!

If it's a council car park contact them, they'll probably waive the fine. If it's a private car park ignore the letters. You've had the first letter, you'll get another with the fine doubled. Then cos they're such nice people they'll send another offering to accept some reduced amount or further...

Type 1 Cell phone like vibration in feet

Hi elie1102. I've been type 1 for 16 years. I had exactly those symptoms. Just a mobile phone buzzing in your shoes. It might come and go every 10 to 15 seconds. That was about 2 years ago. I went to the docs, they couldn't fine anything wrong. It lasted about a year then went as suddenly as...

    Freestyle Libre Re-think...

I've used Glimp and Librelink on a Samsung S6 both have worked well. Glimp will carry on reading beyond the 2 week expiry as well. Not recommend tho.

    Insulin overdose

Keep checking your blood sugar and get a stash of lucozade, cola biscuits, sweets, cake etc etc. Don't let it get too low. Have you got anybody with you?

Type 1: How many test strips do you use up a month ?

About 200 per month, much less since I've been using a Libre. Never had a problem getting a many as I need or for which ever make or model of meter I had at the time.

Type 1: When's the last time you had a hypo?

I had a 3.3 this afternoon. As usual I over did hypo treatment and spent the rest of the day in 16 to 13 range. Just about under control again now. Felt fine within about 20mins.
