    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

I had the same issue on lantus. Gp never thought to mention about any spikes I might get, but I was involved in a trial with a cgm and found out I was dipping up to 4ml in the space of an hour around 6am. Was taking my lantus at around midnight before bed. I started taking in the mornings...

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

I went to order one today but I've been told that they are not allowing new users at this time as demand is too high and they need to prioritize sensors to existing users. FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

I think I'm still on the fence as to whether it is worth the money. To those of you currently using this, do you tend to always carry you bg monitor with you at all times? Or do you feel comfortable going to gym / work etc with just the libre providing you don't need to drive anywhere?

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

Thanks JPTS, Do you not find there is a risk that this could give you a false sense of security? Do the erroneous readings generally tend to be too high, or is there a risk you could have a hypo where the libre shows you as being normal?

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

Thank you. It seems to me that his can only be good for looking at underlying trends rather than live readings. If there is a risk of being 2ml deviation I'd not feel confident about driving etc. So on that basis personally I couldn't justify £100 a month.

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

I've been considering getting a libre but I am a bit concerned about the accuracy. I'm confused though... is there no calibration? I used a cgm as part of a trial a few years back and it required a couple of blood tests a day to reset to the right level. If this is the case I'd be fine with...
