    Having worked in the Private Medical Insurance Industry, I can tell you that was the biggest fear. If the NHS is scrapped then Private Health Care is shared between multiple times more people, and the advantage of being seen quickly/queue jumping disappears

    New to meds, concerned about side effects

    If it helps I stopped metformin a month ago due to other medications. I restarted last week, and the need to go RIGHT NOW arrived 3 days later. Thankfully only lasted a couple of days, but we are all different

    7.9 this morning, but taken after a cup of black coffee, so not sure how indicative it is. All the same relieved to be back under 8. New strips on order, maybe they have some lower numbers stored on them ;)

    For me it is bathroom, then down stairs let the animals out, then wash hands and test. Maybe if I tested first I would get a 4??? Wishful thinking

    8.6 8.6 and 8.2 these last 3 days. I have a knee the size of a babies bottom these last 4 weeks. Lack of exercise is taking its toll on my numbers

    The law of diminishing returns will have you in the end Rachox, as it does all of us. Metformin is a known appetite suppressant. Are you aware of eating a wee bit more since you dropped the dose?
