For those of you who have been put to sleep?

Yes I had tonsils removed last year and battled higher than normal levels for a day or two. It is a big trauma to the body and it is coping in its own way

You probably have "normal" skin lol those with dry or oily skin would probably be more likely to have some issues

T1, Good News for me & question!

It's really personal choice, I usually remove mine, but if it's "in the heat of the moment" type occurrence then it usually gets left on. Reason I remove is i don't want it just roaming around if there's no where to clip it! I agree with the above comment though, as you're at school I'm...

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

There ARE many reports of them coming off though. I guess it depends on skin type etc. I would certainly try without tape but be prepared for the possibility

    Tomorrows the day

    9 bars

I don't low carb, but these are definitely not in that category. I have to say though that I didn't spike at all when I had one (T1 on insulin with HORRIFIC breakfast spikes usually). As it is made up of nuts and seeds it is very low GI

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

I said before, had an hba1c done two weeks before getting Libre and it was 0.1% different from libres estimate. So not bad actually!

    Tomorrows the day

I'll admit it took me a few days to get used to unclipping. I was being too gentle at first!

    Tomorrows the day

You don't even have to suspend the pump - you run the risk of forgetting to un-suspend when you re-attach. It's not like it's going to pour insulin everywhere! Just unclip and go! It's really that simple :) Only reason to use the caps is if you're going into some absolutely foul unsanitary...

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

First sensor I panicked when the outter "skirt" didn't stick so I covered it with opsite. Upon removal I discovered the centre was well and truly stuck actually! This time around I've gone tape free and so far so good. I haven't tried the gym with it yet though, I felt more confident in the gym...

    Breakfast spikes

For breakfast I need to pre-bolus by about 45 minutes. I don't advise that if you're driving straight after.... But 15 minutes before might help a bit? This is why I get up and drive to work then eat breakfast at my desk lol

    FREESTYLE LIBRE ON SALE!!!!

Haha yeah I had NONE of those questions. Didn't care where it was on my body or how stuck/loose it was. Just asked for the error message, of which there was none, and the serial number of reader and sensor. Clearly my guy couldn't be bothered to interrogate me lol

I've only seen one other "in the wild" with a pump
