I have a codefree and it's perfect. So long as it gives u your bg result I don't think it matters which one it is.

U should of asked to try diet and exercise first. I did and my hba1c was 94. I refused tablets because I know the bowel problems metformin causes. Get yourself a bg monitor and try it for 3 months. I went on the lchf diet and lost 20 lb and brought my bg down to a range of 5.2 and 6.7 . Good luck.
