    Non stop hypo

Yes. If I don't give a strong bolus, I get high for 3 hours. If I do, then I dip too fast. Not sure if the lantus makes a diff because if I inject lantus at 8am and not eat or bolus at all, my level remains the same at 12am.

    Non stop hypo

I'm alive! I'm alive! Thanks for the concern! I did reduce my lantus this morning. Then I went all high today. Completely crazy readings. Grrrr.

    Non stop hypo

Haven't bolus for last 6 hours. But I think the morning lantus is still working. Assuming my beta cells are momentarily revived, no matter how much i eat I'll still be going hypo whole night now. It's midnight where I am.

    Non stop hypo

It's been ok until last few days. I start giving lesser and lesser but still going hypo very frequently. I'm afraid to sleep tonight! I had cake without dosing and still went hypo after an hour.

    Newly diagnosed type 1

When my body screams sugar! But my brain knows I've had enough, I drink Diet Coke to trick it. Not the best advice but if desperate, worth a try.

    One blurry eye

Happened to me too. Stabilised after a while. But I ended up with one short and one long sighted. Nothing glasses didn't solve. Good luck. Hope all ok at the end of the fluctuations. Good to check with doc as well. Just in case.

    Heart keeps thumping

Nope. I suspected it was all the Diet Coke I've been drinking but after stopping for days still thumping even when I get out of the bath tub. Seems like Low blood pressure is the biggest suspect here. Been drinking lotsa water and daily dose of coffee as prescribed by netizen for raising...

    Heart keeps thumping

Is it very bad to ask doc for a letter to skip the Long airport queue while carrying luggage? I've done 3 injections while in line now. 3 different times. My sugar just soar up and I get giddy. There are some lines that take up to 30-45 mins. Gets giddy, check sugar, shot up. Have to do...

Oh and once I sit down for a minute or 2 it gets better. And stops thumping.

    Heart keeps thumping

Whether high Low or in range. Anything that is physical will get it thumping. When I'm on biz trips and not at desk, it basically thumps everytime I'm walking around carrying a bit of weight. Some said lack of insulin (even when in range) will cause thumping because of lack of energy for the...

    Heart keeps thumping

Anybody's heart thumps like crazy just because of a little exertion like walking to the flight gate dragging along a 10kg luggage on wheels? Just before I was diagnosed, I ran small marathons. Always very fit. Right after I was diagnosed, my heart starts thumping very fast just for me to get out...
