    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

According to my smart scales I apparently lost 3 lbs this week. I think last week's reading was an anomaly, but I'll take this week's weight loss as a win!

Today's lunch was a lovely sirloin steak with broccoli, carrots, green beans and a medium potato sautéed in lard. The veg is much better fresh than frozen. Apart from peas, that is.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Today for lunch I had a sourdough bacon sandwich. My blood sugar went from 4.8 → 7.2 two hours later, so a slightly higher rise than I'd like. For dinner I had a smoked frankfurter, mushroom and cheese omelette, with garden peas and a tomato. I didn't check my sugars; they should be okay after that.

Thank you. I think I prefer the chicken fried, rather than air fried. But the beans and sautéed potatoes were lovely, the carrots (frozen) not so much. Fresh is best.
