    the ONLY way to find out how bad it is for you is to use a meter to measure your blood sugar levels before eating it and then again 2 hours after eating it... from personal experience, I can't even have one slice and keep my sugars below 6 2 hours later.

    you should be aiming to change the nature of your LDL from the nasty small dense LDLs to the large fluffy LDLs... But the NHS won't pay for the test that gives you those figures, they just deduce the total LDL from a formula and tell you to cut your total LDL down...

    Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution... http://www.diabetes-book.com/ cut the carbs, cut the carbs right back... then it makes the insulin doses much smaller and reduces the roller coaster of highs and lows... I may be T2 on diet and exercise, but low-carbing enables me to keep my blood sugars...

    I keep my LivLife bread in the freezer and just knock a couple of slices off the frozen block everytime I want some... Scrambled eggs on toast with a two massive slices of bacon this morning for brekkie. Loads of lovely butter on the toast as well :)
