Got it now, that was set, I messed with pretty much everything until it worked, does it require location enabled?

Freestyle Libre 2 sensors worse than before? (failure thread).

Can someone help pls. I just installed juggluco, seems to work fine, downloaded the last 8 hours (or so) and presents it as a line, but after that I can scan manually but the results are no longer continuous, they appear as green dots of each scan (so not a line, but scathered dots in the...

Can this app be used once a sensor has been initiated by Libre, or should I only try in the next sensor?

    Newly diagnosed, 82 HbA1c 82 MMOL/MOL

Same here, I did everything I was not supposed to do, dropped carbs to less than 20gr a day and eat plenty of animal fats, chicken with skin, eggs, bacon, plenty of red meat, I even cook with pork lard now. My BG, my tryglicerides, my cholestrol all came down from very high to perfectly normal...

You will not: - Correct a insulin resistance problem in 10 days. - Burn your excess in blood and liver reserves, etc... - Change your metabolic and hormonal issues (insuline and glucagon) in 10 days. After 2 months I have passed G tolerance test (which means they take blood and check the BG...

I made a mistake above, Dapagliflozin is one active principle, that induces the kidneys to filter G from blood and drop it into urine (means you waste G). Metformin induces the Liver (not Kidneys) - to not dump reserve G into the blood.

As for milk (never take skimmed), the more they remove fat the more it concentrates lactose and the faster it speeds up digestion (fat slows it down). Take whole milk or what I do, I take coffee with a single drop of 35% fat cream (the one to use for cakes). Lactose free is even worse, means...

You can answer it yourself, if you want and have the will to make a strict diet, then try no meds first... if you want some bread then take the pills... I was given the same meds... only took one to try (the side effects were a NO). The second one makes your kidneys drop excess G into urine...

So this storage when does it deplete it's supply of sugar? Fast if your diet is strict and if you exercise, but also remember that the liver can convert protein and fat into G... its complex, even if in theory you eat zero carbs, your liver will continue to convert it from other sources and...

This is my experience below, all below are Laboratory results, I went there almost every Saturday (note Lab results were always lower than finger prick test by almost 1 mmol). Copy paste from excel, sorry if the format gets messed: Date mmol/L January 7 11,4 January 14 9,1 January 21...

One word about exercise, if you test you BG during/after exercise its possibily going to be high, this is because the liver will release from its storage into the blood stream in order to meet your physical needs. This is something I learned from a continuos monitor, even morning stress rises it...

Hello, I just wrote a reply to someone in the same boat. I was diagnosed less than 3 months ago, my A1c was 91. After 2 months my BG was totally normal. Read my answer to the other person in case something might help...

Hi everyone,my name is chris. I was given my diagnosis by text last week of type 2 .

Hello Chris, I was in the same boat just 3 months ago (11.4 fasting, A1C 10.5% or 91 IFCC). Now I am totally normal, with just diet. So if you are type 2, that means that you have developed resistance to insulin (due to a long term over consumption of carbs, a over production of insulin...

    Coffee

Im not sure I can help you directly, but this is what I learnt: I take it now black or with 1 to 3 drops of 35% fat cream. Skimmed milk has higher sugars than whole milk or cream. Lactose free (even more) - it does send the meter up! So what works for me (tested with continuous monitor) is...

    How to curb food cravings?

I was a compulsive eater 3 months ago, and that is because carbs are addictive, once your metabolic health goes south that addiction becomes harder to control. It was a spiral for me. I am okay now, according to blood work I am no longer diabetic, lost over 18 KG in 2 and half months... now I...

i am pre diabitic on metformin 4x daily my a1c is 6.4

You still have good changes of improving if you take diet seriously, my A1c was 10.5 (well ahead of you) in January (initial diagnosis). 2 months later after a very strict low carb diet and weight loss, I am no longer diabetic (by blood work analysis). For the moment l would suggest you look...

Insulin resistance battle -> controlling average BG or peak BG?

I was wondering, in order to improve or not aggravate insulin resistance, you think its better to control the average BG around or is it the peaks that leads the cells to close the door to insulin?

    New Metre

The old school, was fat phobic... they said you had to eat carbs otherwise hell would break loose because of fat... There is a new school of doctors and scientists who are pro elimination of as much carbs as possible and to replace them with fat (things like meat, eggs, olive oil, cheese and so...

    Libre 2 scans not 'scanning'

I had a similar issue with the Redmi 9C NFC (not in compatibility list), it would stay reading for several minutes before providing a results and often would not... I switch to a 9T (bought a used phone only for scanning) and the 9T is compatible according to the list, then worked great. Reads...
