    If you've had the same pump for 9 years it may well be out of warranty already. I've been told when I get my pump I would keep it for 4 years initially.     If your dsn is saying it shouldn't be a problem you need to follow up with them and find out what the next steps are. There's usually forms for you to complete before they can apply for funding. I've just attended my pre Pump meeting but it did take a while to get everything in place. Good luck F

    Spikes plus???

    Spikes are where your blood sugar levels go up v steeply to above the range you're working to. If you drop to below 3.9 that is a hypo and if you're not feeling any symptoms even at 2.9 then you need to let your nurse know as not feeling hypo signals can be dangerous.
