Travelling Abroad - Hand Luggage Only

I can confirm that I had no issues travelling around Europe just earlier in May. I had only hand luggage and was carrying my meter, strips and lancets, and had week's worth of Metformin in a pillbox - no paperwork with it whatsoever. Nobody batted an eyelid and got through fine.

    extreme tiredness

I'm always tired, and it takes a lot of willpower to get up, go to work and function throughout the day. Even when my blood sugar is normal, I just blame getting old on feeling tired all the time.

    High numbers

I was trying to control my T2 with diet, not so much with exercise, I'm very lazy. Around Christmas, I went back to my GP when my BG was 19.0, and I was put on Metformin. It does help to lower your BG levels. It's even curbed my appetite. I now get regular readings between 5 and 7 - where I want...

I lowered my HbA1c from 65 to 49 over 3-4 months. :D Not out of the woods yet, but happy I'm going in the right directions. However, I may have NASH - the liver function tests are increasingly worse, so GP rang and said he'd book me in for an Ultrasound. :grumpy: Can't have it all, ey...

Do I have to stop drinking soda drinks completely?

I have type 2 diabetes, and I enjoy Pepsi Max quite often. It doesn't increase my blood sugar levels (tested myself as was curious if Pepsi Max did raise my levels).
