    What an Idiot!!!

    I agree with the above, eat now and test often. I did a similar thing yesterday but took my slow acting one instead of the rapid, then took the rapid and then was unable to eat the food I'd cooked as I felt ill. Jelly babies every 15 minutes and I was right as rain.

    I have an itch in the middle of my back. Nothing to see on the skin, the doctor just said it was something I will get and to keep it moisturused.

    It's been happening to me a lot recently. Feel Hypo test and see 10-13 I wonder if it's a bounce back from a Hypo and if I feel it my body is already trying to deal with it.

    GL = the average glycemic glcose equivalent weight. So Lizi's Granola contains 24.3g of carbs but only has a GL of 6g so I would take 1 unit of Novorapid rather than 2 or 3

    this is what I'm experimenting with at the moment. I've always re-fueld straight after exercise with carbs and protein, I've been told this is best done in the window 20 minutes after finishing. Now the trick with us is we need to have teh insulin to cover the carbs but it should then transport...

    and it was great, we discussed all sorts of things, the interaction of carbs and insulin and how to make my diet and meds meet my lifestyle. She basically said anyway I want to live can be accomodated especially as I don't really eat carbs unless excercising. A good experience and suprising...

    For my Basal I am told to increase on the third day. Once we have the fasting numbers sorted then we will adress the bolus.

    Thanks for the luck, I was glad to be able to chuck the Gliclazide away :) Re-tested at 9:30 just to be sure and it was back up to 7.1 so no hypo :clap:
