    Yesterday; slow smoked 13hr pulled pork. Invited to a bbq by some close friends; always good to take something. Effectively zero carb per portion (before put into buns). BG lower after than when I started (yay accuracy)

    What others have said - try some and test really. I'm Type 2 - I find that whisky (any spirit 40%+ other than liquors) and champagne barely move the BG, often lowering it. Zero carbs in the spirits, 1g per glass for champagne. Red wine, I guess it depends on the grape - but tends to be 2g ish...
