Back again!!
I had an air bubble in my tubing so I've primed it and got it out, attached pump and I'm away again.
My question is, do I need to give my one unit extra like I did when I put the new cannula and cartridge in?
Thanks!

Thanks for your replies! I've been testing every hour (I've always been a bit obsessive about it!)
Just one basal rate at the moment until we figure out what I need properly.
I've got plenty of test strips and I'm carrying my pens around with me just in case!
I'm a bit paranoid about it at the...
Hi guys!
Been a while since I've been on here, had a lot going on.
I hope everyone is well and happy.
I've started pump therapy today! So far all is going well, bg was 25.8 this morning after not having any basal but it's came down to 12.6 now so it's heading in the right direction.

Activity levels and exercise also cause hypos as do other things such as heat, stress, illness etc. everyone is different. Too much insulin may be the main cause, but it is certainly not the only cause.

Always make sure you check your bg before you go to bed. I never go to to bed if I'm below 5, also make sure that you have hypo treatments by your bed.
Do you get hypo symptoms?
It's very tragic about what happened but it is quite a rare thing to happen.

That's great thank you. I used to get DLA that's why I've had to change.
Pain in the bum to be honest!!
Will post how I get on once I've found out.

Has anyone had an assessment for PIP?
I've got one tomorrow and was wondering if anybody could give me a heads up about what's involved? What kind of questions they were asked? And what the outcome was in the end?
Thanks in advance.

My bg rockets when I'm stressed. Stress definitely has an impact on bg.
It does on mine anyway, I get similar results to yours when I'm stressed.
Hope they come back down soon.

I've had a floater in my left eye for about 2-3 years now. It doesn't change and it doesn't move. I can see it more when the sun is bright. I'm 23 and type 1.

I did a few hours housework and my bg dropped to normal again, guess ironing and cleaning isn't so bad after all!

Thanks, I've taken it this morning and I'm on a split dose so I'm hoping it improves as the day goes on!
For some reason the alarm on my phone was switched off and I didn't realise until this morning when my other alarm went off that I didn't do it!
Will be double checking for that in future :)...
