Yes, I’m using the libre 3 and it is much better than the 2, it’s much smaller also. Don’t need to scan it like you did with the libre 2 either. It’s a continuous feed from the sensor to your phone. Just need to download the libre 3 app on android or iPhone. I’ve got it for the iPhone.

Quick question, what if you have none of the above, no extra medications, no illness, what do you think could be the problem there? Also my blood sugars are higher than “normal” in the mornings too, so thinking maybe about upping my longer lasting insulin

Quick question, does anyone know why the past 4 or 5 days my blood sugars are not coming down like they use to after dosing the correct amount of insulin for carbs?? They go up and keep going, until I put extra insulin in to bring them down. Thanks

No, it usually went up for a little while then dropped down to normal between meals. But since not feeling too great 3-4 days ago it just keeps going up and up until I put in a correction dose, which at the minute can be anything from 8 plus units. I’ll have a look in the pharmacy today after...

I think prescriptions of the libre 3 sensor come into affect in December this year, but don’t quote me on that! I myself am in wales so I can’t really comment how things are done in England etc. sorry

I thought an android phone was an android phone, maybe need updating with whatever android use, as I know apple use iOS, but as long as the system update was up to the current one it would be ok I’m guessing.

At the minute here in the uk, I’ve been told there’s no reader for the 3 yet, and the only app for it at the moment is on Android which means I would have to buy a new phone just to be able to use the 3

Hi guys, have been on libre 2 for less than a month, and because of my type of work I’ve been offered the libre 3, is anyone else using the 3 at the moment? I’ve heard it’s better and smaller than the 2, but it’s needs android phone to use at the moment.
