Wow that is a large dose! Well compared to mine it is. The most I've ever done is 22 units (of basal) and had to Reduce that eventually down to 15 as I was getting N severe hypos in the night/mornings. If I did 84 I'd be out of it [emoji15] just shows how everyone is so different doesn't it!

Not sure if it is related to diabetics or not. But I bruise really easily. Not only in injection sites. But I get huge dark bruises and I don't know where they came from. Mainly on my legs. Does anyone else suffer with this?

Hi Lisa, I have suffered a similar experience recently. But have been under an awful lot of stress. My stress levels have recently dropped and my bloods seemed to have calmed down a bit. I believe stress can play havoc with bg readings.

I know this might sound like a really daft question - and might not be something anyone can answer in which case I will ask the doctor. But is it ok to use eye drops (as in refreshing eye drops or the tired eye ones) with retinopothy?

I get this often. And sometimes if I do a correction dose before bed even a small dose I end up in a hypo.
