This dawn phenomenon thing accounts for some of it I’m sure...I haven’t tested during the very early morning I wonder if there is a big difference - setting my alarm for 4.00 am one morning may be interesting! Keep going though as I’m sure you have lower numbers during the day like me ?!
I know how it feels to be battling every day regarding the first reading in the morning but it doesn’t define us! I hope your readings are better as the day goes on! Small victories that’s what I say!
I know it’s not the reading you want but you’re planning ahead again so well done to you for that. I’m not good at planning ahead and want to be better at it!
I know how difficult to get the FBG down I’m the same been low carving for a while but I think everyone is so different and so many factors affect our readings. Keep going!
Thank you - that does make sense, I’ll try and adjust the way I am thinking. After all, my readings throughout the day are good and post meals are under 8.5 so going on the positives! I appreciate your advice and I’m going to stick to one reading and not chase. [emoji4]
I’m sure I’m not the only one who takes a few readings once in a while!
8.8 : 9.6. 9.0. 10.1. All sequential readings. Tested my Codefree meter all good, so I am averaging around 9.2 ish! I’m no longer going to worry about .2 .3 .4 .5 .6 difference maybe as this can sometimes spoil my morning...
Oh my goodness that accounts for the double whammy of a little brown rice and kidney beans! I am veggie, packed it with quorn and peas but that may well account for this as I have been loitering around the early 8s late 7s only to jump up again! Thank you very much !
