    The one to one doesn't worry me it's the I was under the impression that you treat a hypo with 15g of carbs and test then if still low repeat not just straight go in with sugar overload

    Her level has been down to 3.4 senior said she's only just hypo but she was shaking and clammy they then gave her all three of the above and checked her blood which was then 7.8 then left her alone

    Yes I test my bloods regularly I've never really tested after white bread because since diagnoses and on the advice of diabetic nurse I swapped out all white for wholemeal

    That's basically what I'm doing and testing to see what spikes my sugars I find most of sw meals are OK with my bloods but it's not a one size fits all am only going on my experience am sure someone who is a bit more savvy will come along soon and give you some more pointers

    I'm following slimming world I'm no expert and someone may correct me but I swap out the pasta for healthier version I.e wholewheat or seeded bread and wholemeal pasta and I use less carbs

    I've found testing my own blood has helped enormously I stay away from the foods that spike my bloods some surprising ones too which without testing I wouldn't have thought they would spike it, I've gotten my blood down from 67 to 47 and lost weight[emoji4]
