    quinoa anyone?

    Aa we have coeliacs as well as diabetes in the family i have been considering using quinoa in place of rice or potatoes. Does anyone have knowledge or experience on using this as part of diabetic diet? I know the Gi is said to be 18,;it is easy to cook and some great recipes out there.

    Anna29 - thanks - I'm not a perfect diabetic, I struggle and my daughter often points me in right direction. I try to even things out ie if I have this now, I don't have that tomorrow -.Kind of thing. Small exceptions birthday etc may have a 'wicked' but nice dessert :)
