    Struggling with lows

Awe look at your bump! It's so cute! They talked about a c section for me at 36 weeks but let me go to 38! I absolutely hate filling your bladder for a scan just so they can push REEEEALLY hard on it when they scan you! Internal scan was actually more comfortable surprisingly! She said that's...

    Eeeeek so excited!

That's good! So glad you have been seen! My only symptom was sore boobs! That's all I had... Till now! I just have felt nauseous all day for the past 2 days, when when it comes to meal times I'm instantly hungry, but once I've eaten I'm back to feeling sick! Lol! Didn't have this with my last...

    Eeeeek so excited!

Hello @Ellie_Wilko! I have just had my 8 week scan! It was an internal one as they couldn't get a clear enough picture through the stomach! It didn't bother me tho, it was absolutely fine! Was just lovely to see baby and his/her heartbeat! I'm feeling quite nauseous at the moment! Especially...

    Help! BG keeps dropping!!

I don't find glucotabs work for me, they are quite slow to work, whereas Lucazade works within minutes and I feel better quickly. Each to their own I suppose. I'm going to as the dsn and doc tomorrow about reducing basal @azure. I did find this with my last pregnancy, but not till a lot later...

    Struggling with lows

I feel that too! In not bolusing for snacks at the moment because I have to much insulin on board! Last night was awful, 3 hypos in the space of an hour and a half despite having a -50% basal and drinking a whole bottle of lucazade and 40g of "free" carbs! Such a battle! I ended up suspending...

    Help! BG keeps dropping!!

Thanks @Mrsass I ended up suspending my insulin for half an hour and forced a piece of toast down me! I set my alarm for midnight and my sugar was 13.9! Correction dose given, 9.9 3 hours later so another correction! 6.3 this morning! Dsn said I'd dealt with it right, that didn't change the fact...

    34w update & questions :)

It wasn't too bad really, it was the not driving that got to me the most! But my little boy was in special care for 2 weeks and I was allowed to stay for most of that time so it was only 4 weeks at home that I couldn't drive for. It'll be more frustrating if that has to happen this time as my...

    34w update & questions :)

Can't believe you don't have long left! How exciting! [emoji177] my little boy weighed 5lb 6oz at 32 weeks. They let me go to 38 weeks and he was born 11lb 1oz, planned c section!! X section didn't really bother me, it's not the worst thing in the world. When he was born his blood sugar was...

    Eeeeek so excited!

Yeah they didn't give me the option, just said that the consultant in under likes you to be booked in and scanned by 8 weeks? Oh well I'll see how things go with it... X

    Eeeeek so excited!

I haven't got a choice, I've got to have one, it's part of the consultant in unders stipulations! I prob could refuse if I pushed it but I'm going to go for it. It does say on my letter that it should be stomach but will be vaginal if required! I'll let you ladies know on the 17th I guess...

    Eeeeek so excited!

My bloods have gone up a bit, especially in the morning, my insulin carb ratio has changed already too, as they like you to be below 7.8 one hour after your meal. I have increased my basal rate in the morning too, and the higher rate starts at 2am now rather than 3am. I had one hba1c done 14th...

    Eeeeek so excited!

I don't have a choice, and I don't like the fact it's called a foetus viability scan [emoji17] but it's an opportunity to see baby early do I'll take it! And it says it's an ultrasound on the stomach, but could be a vaginal one of needs me! [emoji33] I'm hoping very much it's a stomach one...

    Eeeeek so excited!

That's what my consultant does, I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but I think we all get scanned early! That's exciting to have someone due a couple of weeks after me to keep in touch with! [emoji4] have you noticed any change in your sugars yet? X

    Positive pregnancy test!!! Eeeeeeeekkkk!!!

Mine just keeps changing already! Every meal requires a lower ratio than before, but I think n because it has to be back down in one hour rather than 2 and coupled with the hormones... It's just time to play havoc! Hope things settle for a bit at least! If I keep on this ratio I'll be on a 1:1...
