    Thank you @Brunneria ...i think what you wrote makes perfect sense. That means i shouldn't be scared and eat carbs when i feel like this. I do feel very hungry at that level though

    Advice Please

    Hi, This is how I felt with metformin as well and my symptoms lasted for about 4-5 weeks every time I increased the dosage. Once the body got use to I don't have anymore side effects. Ask your doctor if you can start with low dosage and increase very slowly. Hope this helps.

    Hello everyone

    Welcome @Kezroz, I am fairly new too. This forum is a wealth of information with lots of helpfull people around. I could manage to bring my Hba1c level within range through all the info here. Give time to settle the shock and start low carb as soon as possible :)

    No other meds except Metformin. Actually its feeling cold in general but I notice it more in my hands when working in the kitchen.

    Hmmm! I eat low carb but not much fat :) I don't feel much hungry now. I use to feel that initially. Is there a place where I can find out about the good fats? Thank you so much for your advice :)
