    Yes, it can. Peripheral neuropathy occurs in non diabetic people and sometimes there is no cause identified for it. Always worth having it check out by GP/specialist if you have symptoms of neuropathy as it can be a sign of some other hidden medical problem.

    There are only the options of putting on fat or muscle (or both together). The only way to build muscle is to do a weights program, whether at home or a gym. Walking wont do it, nor running. Also consider if there is an underactive thyroid, this causes all sorts of problems.
