    Completely Confused Mess About Diet

Hi Don't know where you live but once you have your meter ask your GP to prescribe the test strips and lancets. My GP had no problems as it's an integral part of monitoring your blood glucose and without testing when you've eaten different things how do you know what you can tolerate or not? My...

What Annoying Things Have People Said About Your Diabetes?

Just received after 8 months my care plan from care agency. Long running story, my carer is excellent but the office and manager couldn't organise anything. Have written twice to complain, met their "quality officer" a very untidy, scruffy young woman with very long painted fingernails and...

I spent three years with slimming world before diagnosis lost two stone and put one back on since last July, now 3 weeks since diagnosis, first week low carb and 5lb off already! Saving what I would have paid in fees for hopeful new wardrobe once I've lost a couple of stones again. I'm not...

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Thank you, it's good to get ideas I'm going to clear the cupboards of rubbish and stock up on my new essentials. I'm determined to get better at this, especially as there isn't another option!

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Hi everyone, 6.3 this morning after a rubbish night. Only a week into testing and two weeks since diagnosis type 2 and finding it very hard. Trying to stick to low carb diet but have lost appetite ( and 3 lbs so far). My mobility is already rubbish, crutches on a good day wheelchair more often...
