    Thanks for asking Deejay. I'm cooking on a camping gas ring. I have about an ounce of buckwheat flour. I'm not sure what I can tolerate yet. I'm experimenting. I thicken sauces by reduction rather than using carbs.

    I'm happy to report a 10.3! sounds awful doesn't it? But this is down from 16+ 3 weeks ago when I started taking it seriously again and getting back on the wagon where I still am.

    I do this with courgettes. Best eaten immediately as they get sloppy later. They work very well. If I make stir fries, I add them right at the end and cook them quick on a high heat. I use a shredder which slices them in a gif!

    I am testing. Fbg and 2hrs after meals until I get my bg down again. This week readings are all high 12 - 20. I think I knew about apples being bad... a handful of nuts is better. Are you suggesting I take the coconut oil to bring down the bg? What are VCO's? These comments are so helpful...

    Thanks for your advice. I will cut out the yellow fruits and replace with apples and nuts. I'm just rebuilding my diet and exercise behaviour. It'll take a while.....
