Not on that one. Been talked about a couple of times but they have always decided against it for some reason. Im on Glucophage & Dapafligozin (I think thats how you spell it)

Thank you once again. I have a meter but think it needs an upgrade as I have has it for several years now. its just every time I ask for strips the doc is reluctant to give them to me.

Thank you Urbanracer. I was sure I wasnt alone & my father (aslo Diabetic, but on Insulin) is totally outraged at the fact Im told not to test, especially as Im not controlled at the moment. Wish I could afford to by my own strips & lancets but I just cant!

Can anybody tell me please. Do you have trouble getting lancets & test strips from your GP? I am constantly being told I dont need to test being on tablets. How can I know if I am controlling my condition if I am unable to test my BG? My diabetes is not under control currently & I am desperate...

Well my HBA1C results werent good! I am very much out of control at the moment. I know what I have to do but I find it difficult to keep motivation. I am giving myself a hard time in the hopes of making a good start on improving my health & bringing the HBA1C back down again.

Thank you for the intros liam1955, daisy1 & Prem51. Today I get my latest HBA1C results. Fingers crossed they will be better than I expect them to be.
