    Itv The Fat Fix: Diabetes

I may be in a minority but I found the programme fascinating. Being diagnosed in January this year my doctor told me that "now the hard work begins, here's a 8 page fact sheet to follow, a prescription and we'll see you in 3 months" 5.5 months later I've not heard anything from them, I'm...

    Always Thirsty

I will buy a meter, I'm pretty much of an anorak with things, I like to know how they work, what they do etc. Also I'd not thought that is was just a dry mouth, maybe that could be right, I don't feel dehydrated, my urine is the right colour so maybe that is the problem.

So, I'm on one meal a day low carb and since 31st January 2018 have lost 3/4 stone which I'm over the moon about...

    Newly Diagnosed

Thanks, that's made me feel a little more settled. When I said to the GP about died she dismissed the idea saying I'd need to be on about 800 calories a day (1pizza!!! only joking) for it to have any effect but reading and reading some more, people have good results with low carb so I think...
