    Hi everyone, Three months ago I was diagnosed with type 1. I had no history in the family whatsoever, and thought at 21 that my symptoms could never be diabetes, but hey, that's life!     Wow that's incredible!! Can't see myself coming off insulin anytime soon as I do still experience the occasional high but its nice to know this could last quite a while :)

    Sooo annoyed!

    When I first went into hospital the night of my type 1 diagnosis (three months ago) a nurse asked me if I'd always just eaten a lot of sweet things. A NURSE!! Its frustrating, but you get used to it. I also find it frustrating when people try and offer me dietary advice to control my blood...
