What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yes, I've thought the same @ianpspurs I looked at the list of ingredients, and it should be easy enough to replicate really. I may have a go one day! Luckily I love coconut (you may have gathered that [emoji6] )

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

My diet at the moment could be called 'adventures in coconut'! I made these highly recommended (by me) coconut macaroons with a mix I bought from the 'Dr Almond' website Half a pack of mix makes 8 big macaroons, and they're really tasty and almost indistinguishable from the real thing. I'm...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Sunday was a bit of a carb fail - the reason being ... daughter and I went on my birthday present experience - which was sushi school! Rather obviously there was a LOT of rice involved, but the session started with a demo on cutting salmon with a scarily sharp knife ... and we then got to eat...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I don't like it much in its raw state - I stick it in the toaster sometimes very briefly and have it with paté but the pasty was a triumph!

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast - nothing: I find when I'm working at home (which is most of the time) I'm not remotely hungry till about 11 or 12 and then its nearly lunchtime! Neveryheless I had an Atkins bar and coffee at 11 ish Lunch - rollitos, celery, full fat soft cheese, feta stuffed peppers, pecans and a...

Inulin - how/what do people use it for? Having had to come into city centre to sort out my late mums finances I came across a wholefood shop so I stocked up on desiccated and toasted coconut and nuts - and also bought a small bag of inulin. Now, what do I do with it [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Feeling a bit brighter and have shaken off the 'not quite ill but not right' feeling. Breakfast - 'muesli' (oats, dessicated coconut, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, nuts) with coconut milk and blueberries. Tea. Mid morning - phd bar. I'm trying some of the protein low carb bars but I haven't...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yesterday - felt pretty grotty all day. Daughter had a tummy virus but I'm not sure if it was that or general run-down-ness from mums death/funeral/aftermath etc. So all I had was 1 piece of wholemeal toast and peanut butter for late breakfast and 2 giant pigs in blankets for tea! Today -...

Ah yes, I do hope she knows the time will hopefully come when she can. I used to work in counsellor training and we did a lot of work around loss and grief so I know the territory and the process, but it's not quite the same when its your own x

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yes, I felt pretty awful yesterday morning but I knew it would be ok. I have some little glass dishes (used to be mums!) which are my snack dishes so I don't inadvertently a while block of cheese - and I totally could!

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yes very much so. My dad had Picks disease and mum had lifelong mental health problems so it was a very long goodbye for both of them. I feel very peaceful. Lots of things were resolved before she died so that was good

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yesterday's doings - funny old day as it was mums funeral. However, it was very sweet and touching and not as overwhelming as I've found all the previous parents' ones. Probably because I've done a lot of my mourning over the years but anyway ... that's a bit glum. Late brekkie: wholemeal...

Very nice! Nowhere near as sweet as 'real' coconut macaroons - better in my opinion, as my sweet tooth is no longer a thing. I'm impressed!
