    She said same that it’s trial and error , and I eat seeded bread for breakfast and lunch and then tea is different but normally like a chicken dinner or fish and salads I’m gonna learn carb counting as it’s obviously essential to all This , question do you take insulin before snacking on cereal...

    In contact everyday this week they have put my units up as I haven’t been told how to carb count because of Covid I have to wait a while to see a dietitian I think if I knew how to carb count then adding on my correction dosses I would be okay it’s just a nightmare that I can’t see the dietitian...

    I eat tea at 5pm then I’ll have some supper like apple and peanut butter , the lows hit 3 and I’ll have 4 jelly babies to bring me back up but then it brings me up too much I always end up going to bed with a level of 13 I normally go low after lunch at around 2

    Yeah I mean I’m 20 year old just looked at the liver dump and wouldn’t be surprised if it was that with hormones getting realised etc are u type 1 may I ask ?

    First week in but so far On a morning I wake up with around 13 on the dot I take 12 units of humalog with breakfast 2 toast and wheatbix then lunch I take 8 units and sugar level normally around 8 before eating I’m either too high or too low basically cos after lunch I keep getting hypos

    Did anyone find it hard at first to keep there blood sugar levels down as mine our always high on a morning and after breakfast finding it difficult to be in range haven’t seen a dietitian because of Covid so struggling on how to be doing it all correctly
