    I can't take too much milk any way, so giving up milk was easy enough. But no fruits at all? That's gonna be difficult. All these cutting away of food I'm used to sometimes make me worry whether I'm missing out on a certain bit of nutrition.

    I'm only testing in the morning, before meals, and 2 hours after meals. Why is the 1-hour mark important?     Help with foods to lower hba1c

    I'm feeling the same way - being unsure of whether I'm doing it correctly. My wife thinks I'm worrying too much too. She believes the diet change (lots of veges now, no rice, no noodles, still a bit of whole grain bread) will help. But its difficult to discard that feeling of uncertainty.

    Thanks for that. I need to get a grip, I know. I've never been this worried about my health before. I've been diagnosed with chronic prostatitis as well, and that's been adding to my stress. When I'm outside, it sometimes feel frustrating to feel like there's nothing I could eat at all.
