    Type 1 Insulin pump recommendations

I'm using a minimed 640g and love it, I don't have a cgm though so I don't have that luxury lol. Although I am currently on a 4 week libre before I hopefully get it on prescription :) :)

    Hypo right after meals.

    It's novorapud for a pump, it's a different vial from the last one so I don't think it's that's

    Hypo right after meals.

Thanks all, I'm on the minimed 640g pump and currently using the libre, I bolus maybe 5 minutes at the most before a meal, I like to make sure I know how much is on the plate for the carbs lol. It's been the last few days x

    Hypo right after meals.

Hi all, hope you're all well. Right, so for the last few days I've been having my insulin as usual before meals and I keep having hypos not long after I've finished my meal. I have the same amount of carbs for the meal as I'd normally have, but end up hypo. It doesn't matter what my bg is...

    Medtonic woes

Hi, I'm using the medtronic mini med 640g pump. I've never had any issues when calling them, I've had my pump replaced the same day due to a part of it coming away. The only issue I've had is when it comes to reordering my pump supplies and my hospital not being on the funding page. I either...

    Hypo trip

I was staying at a friend's years ago, and woke up hypo, not realising at the time as I was in hypo drunk mode, went to the back door for a smoke, her dog followed me and I was there having a full blown conversation, attempting to share my not lit cigarette with the dog. When my friend realised...

How do I get an insulin pump

Hi, I've found it depends on the team, whilst in Nottingham they seemed anti pump. I've been in Barrow in Furness for 3.5 years and I've had my pump for 2. The first time I asked I was booked onto the first pump course which was 2/3 months later. I hope you get sorted ASAP. Kelly :)

    CBD oil

Hi, I use cbd oil to help with pain management. I've found it helps and relieves the pain, I have frozen shoulder and osteoarthritis in my hip(S). I've not noticed any side effects or anything else whilst using it :)

    Unexplained hypos

    Unexplained hypos

Thanks guys, no idea what's doing it. My hypo symptoms are getting different, the shakes are awful but it's just my right hand. The lightheaded feeling last twice as long and take longer to treat the hypo :/

    Unexplained hypos

Thanks for the reply, I haven't made any changes recently which is why it's so confusing lol.

    Unexplained hypos

Hi all, Sooooo I'm confused as hell lol. Over the last few days I have been having several hypos a day. I have reduced the amount of insulin I'm having with meals, and change my sensitivity. I have been on a pump almost a year. I have no idea why, I'm not pregnant. I am needed more cars to...

    I need help

I couldn't agree with the above any more. You have definitely took the biggest step by saying it out loud so to speak. My inbox is always open if you want a chat :) :)

    Failing big time :(

Just wanted to update, my sugars have finally come down :), put a 140% basal rate and that helped, even had a hypo lol. I have emailed my diabetes nurse to see about getting a cgm to go with my pump, I'm hoping that she'll agree to at least try with it, hoping to find out what's going on...
