Hey I've been getting on with mounjaro quite well I've stopped my novorapid as it was no longer needed thanks to the moujaro. I am on toujeo for my daily which has also come down in dose majorly. Unfortunately in my case I have not lost any weight.

Hi I’ve been on mounjaro for the past few months. To start it made me slightly nauseous but that soon subsided.
Unfortunately for me I have really lost any weight.
It has helped bring down my bg and there’s a reduction in my hba1c
Update: I’ve spoken to my diabetic nurse who said I should get a letter from my gp.
I was wondering what other people use to keep their insulin cool. I have been recommended frio wallets but I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions
I could always buy some full sugar drink from the duty free I suppose.
That’s true I think I will keep mine with me.
I don’t finger prick I use the libre 2. Will that be a problem?
Hey @Jaylee
Thanks for the recommendation will definitely look into that. I have been abroad before with non insulin injections but they were only once a week so I popped it in my big luggage. This will be my first time travelling with insulin.
I’m also terrified in case I suffer a hypo mid flight!
You right I inject lantus in the morning alongside novorapid. And then novorapid in the evening as well.
Have you had to put it in a special case (I.e. too keep it cool with ice packs)
And had anyone ever stopped you at security due to the needles or do you put them in the hold luggage?
Thank...
Hi all I’m going to be starting Mounjaro next eeek alongside my insulin (novorapid and lantus)
Has anyone tried this combination before or have any tips that they could share.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I have been using the my fitness pal app but also been checking with the packaging before committing to the amount of carbs/insulin.
Still trying to get used to it all. I know I shouldn’t but sometimes I guess the amount of insulin I need
Hey everyone.
I’m currently using freestyle libre 2 sensors and am on novorapid and lantus.
Did anyone have any issues going through security?
Also I don’t suppose anyone knows if there would be an issue travelling back from Tenerife to the uk?
Thank you
Hi all I was after some advice
Is my fitness pal and accurate way to check the carbs in my foods?
I will be starting novorapid tomorrow and was wondering which app could help me easily count the amount of carbs I’m having.
I am really struggling to manage my type 2 diabetes.
Any help would...
Hi I also started steroids and antibiotics today. I am a type 2 and sometimes they come up unreadable on my libre sensor. I am also on insulin started this last month
It is yes I’ve got a phone call with my diabetic nurse next week so I assume she will advise me to increase the dose.
My last hba1c was 98 but I am due to have an operation in the new year so I need to work hard to get it down!
Hi everyone so i have been on lantus for a few weeks now and i have gone from 10 units to 14 once a day. I seem to be injecting okay (I hope)
I find that it somewhat helps my blood sugar levels but I have still been in the 20s a bit too much.
Does anyone know the maximum amount you can have of...
I have been referred to an eating disorder team just waiting on them to get in touch with me. I have been struggling with my eating for a couple of years now but have only recently had the courage to speak about it
It’s mainly the side effects I know weight gain and risk of hypo. I was wondering if anyone experienced anything else.
I was told how to work the pen. I need to do 2 then push the end and then inject after. As far as I am aware I have to do it every time I inject
Update I’ve decided to start on insulin my self. I’ve been put on lantus.
Is there anyone else on this would anyone be able to guide me and give a few tips please
It is binge eating and I’m eating all the wrong foods I have even tried to buy just “healthy” snacks but it doesn’t make a difference really.
I am struggling in the mental health side of things and this is having a big impact on my type 2 diabetes.
Also I’m not very mobile due to physical...
I test my blood sugars with a freestyle libre 2. I did have good control on them but mostly they are up and down the highest they have been was 27 which happened only a few days ago.
